WP Travel offers several shortcodes that allow you to display trips based on various criteria such as taxonomy, category, and parent/child category. In the context of WP Travel, taxonomies help to organize trips based on various attributes such as Trip Type, Destinations, and Activities.

WP Travel plugin now supports showing trips filtered by multiple taxonomies using the [WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES] shortcode. This enhancement allows users to list trips based on specific trip types, trip locations, or trip activities by using their respective IDs.

Shortcode Structure:

[WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES type=activity,itinerary_types,travel_locations trip_activity=33 trip_types=11 trip_location=73]

Explanation:

  • type=activity,itinerary_types,travel_locations specifies the taxonomies to filter by.
  • trip_location=73 filters trips by a specific trip location ID.
  • trip_types=11 filters trips by a specific trip type ID.
  • trip_activity=33 filters trips by a specific trip activity ID.
