Step 1
For discount, you have to provide a coupon code for the users to which you are willing to provide a discount by creating a coupon following the path Admin Panel > WP Travel > Coupons > Add New as shown in screenshots below:
After publishing the coupon, the Coupon status will be automatically activated as shown in the screenshot below. Coupon status displays the current coupon status i.e. whether it is active or has expired.
Note: The coupon status will be marked as ‘Expired’ once the expiration date has passed.
Step 2
Also, if you are searching for a user-specific coupon feature then WP Travel v5.0.0 provides the feature that allows the users who have been assigned a coupon to get the coupon code automatically and can get a discount from the total price when booking the trip being logged in. When the user booking the trip is logged in, the coupon code will be automatically inputted in the coupon field in the mine cart section so that the user can apply when booking a trip. The coupon code of the coupon assigned to the user will be displayed automatically as shown in the screenshot below. For detail regarding user-specific coupon features, please refer to the documentation.
Note: If you want to provide a discount for a specific user through coupon code then you need to select the user under the Coupon User option but if you want users to add coupon code you have provided manually then you don’t need to select user.
