If you want to display the trips which are made featured on the homepage then worry not, WP Travel plugin provides the feature regarding displaying trips that are marked as featured as shown in the screenshot below using shortcode.
To display the featured trips on the homepage, you have to add a shortcode which is given below. If you are willing to know about shortcodes available in WP Travel, you can refer to the official documentation.
[WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES type=featured]
Note: You can mark the trip as featured by clicking the star icon available under the Trips tab.
