To use WP Travel Elementor Widget plugin, you have to install and activate Elementor plugin. It is very easy to use the Elementor widget with the page, post and trips. To install Elementor plugin, please follow the steps mentioned below.
Installation of Elementor Plugin #
Step 1: Go to Admin Panel > Plugins > Add new.
Step 2: Search for Elementor in the search field.
Step 3: Install and Activate the Plugin.
Configurations #
After activating Elementor plugin you can either go to the page or the post or trip page and begin starting to add the widgets by clicking on the “Edit With Elementor” icon.
Edit with Elementor Widget:
If you want to edit the trips with the Elementor plugin then at first you need to go to Admin Panel > Elementor > Settings > General > Posts Type and check the option “Trips”.
Steps to Test Single Trip widgets on Single Trip Page:
- Create a brand new local site and head over to the Plugin section.
- Click “Add New” to add a new plugin to your local site.
- Install WP Travel and Elementor, Elementor Pro and WP Travel Elementor Widgets.
- After installing WP Travel, from the plugin setup page import the trips.
- Once the trips are imported, go to Templates under Elementor plugin in dashboard page and click “Theme Builder“.
- In the Theme Builder, go to Single Post and create a template by clicking “Add New” on the top-right.
- After creating a template, publish the template.
- Now you may get prompt asking to Add Conditions to the Single Post page, just Click “Add Condition“.
- In the condition select “Include” in first dropdown, and “Trips” in the second dropdown, and Click “Save & Close“.
- Now you have created a template that is used by every Trip and you can test your single widgets there.
