Under the trip option, there are multiple fields that you need to add while creating the trips.
The available options and displayed below:

Overview #
This is the first tab under Trip Options. This section allows you to add details about the trip. You can also add an image under the overview section.

The content added under the overview section will be displayed under the overview tab in the frontend.

Itinerary #
Under this section you can find various sections which are mentioned below:
- Trip Code (Buy Pro): This option allows you to change the trip code. (You will be able to edit this section only after the activation of the trip code.)
You can rename the text ‘Trip code’ in a single trip page so to know how to do it, please click here. - Trip Outline: This option allows the user to add a description for the Trip.

- Itinerary:
- Itinerary Label: This option allows you to add the itinerary label.
- Itinerary Title: This option allows you to add the itinerary title.
- Itinerary Date: This option allows you to add the date to the itinerary.
- Itinerary Time: This option allows you to add the itinerary time.
- Image (Buy Pro): This option allows you to add images. For detail, please refer to the given link.
- Description: This option allows you to add the description to the itinerary.

Prices & Dates #
The Prices & Dates section allows you to add prices and dates for the trip through the Prices and Dates tabs respectively.
Prices #
Under the Prices tab, you will find Add Price option with which you can add the price for the trip. When you click Add Price option you will find different options which have been listed below:
- Pricing Name: This option allows you to add a pricing name for the trip.
- Min Pax: This option allows you to add a minimum number of people which has to be added while making a booking of a trip.
- Max pax: This option allows to add the maximum number of people which can be added while making a booking of the trip.
- Enable Group Price: This option allows the user to enable/disable the Group Price in the pricing options section so that the user can set group price per pricing rather than per category. For detail assistance regarding WP Travel Group Discount under pricing, please once refer given link.
- Price Categories: Under the Price Categories section you will be able to add prices for the trip under different categories (you can choose a category) as per your requirement.
Also, you can add a category as per your requirement by going to Admin Panel > Trips > Pricing Category so that the categories you have added will be listed under the Price Categories section.

When you click Add Category option, various options will be available which are listed below:
- Category: This option allows you to select a category among the categories you have added.
- Price Per: This option allows you to select either to set price per person or group.
- Price: This option allows you to add price(amount).
- Enable Sale: This option allows you to enable sales if you want to provide discounts to customers. When you enable this option, you will be able to add the sale price.
- Default Pax: This option allows you to add a number of default pax.
- Enable Group Price: This option allows the user to enable/disable the Group Price. For detail regarding WP Travel Group Discount, please once refer given link.
- Trip Extras: This option allows you to add extra items to the trip.

After setting the sections available under the prices tab, you have to save changes before going to the Dates tab.
You can add multiple pricing options for the trip using Add Price button.
Also, you can remove the pricing option which you have added using the Remove Price button. Likewise, you can remove the category section under the price categories that you have added using the Remove Category button.
Dates #
Under the Dates tab, you will find the option either to enable the Fixed Departure option or the Trip Duration option.
Trip Duration #
If you want to add trip duration for the trip then you can add duration through the Trip Duration section.
With the release of WP Travel version 6.6.0, more options have been added under the Trip duration.
Trip Duration Options:

i. Day and Night: Selecting this option will allow you to add the trip which includes day and night. Like 4 Days 3 Nights Trip.
ii. Hour: Selecting this option will allow you to add hourly trips. Like 9 Hours Trip.
iii. Day and Hour (in Pro): Selecting this option will allow you to add the trip which includes day and hour. Like 2 Days 5 Hours Trip.
iv. Hour and Minute (in Pro): Selecting this option will allow you to add a short duration of the trip. Like 6 Hours 30 Minutes Hiking.
v. Day (in Pro): Selecting this option will allow you to add a day trip. Like 1 Day short trip.
vi. Night (in Pro): Selecting this option will allow you to add a night trip.
Validation for the Trip Duration:
With the release of WP Travel version 6.6.0 and WP Travel Pro version 5.6.0, validation options have been added in case of the trip duration so that the trip will be valid for a certain period of time.

i. Duration Start Date: This option allows you to select when you are willing to start a trip.
ii. Duration End Date: This option allows you to select when you are willing to end a trip.

Fixed Departure #
Also, if you want to add a fixed departure date then you can enable Enable Fixed Departure option under which Cut off Time(in hours) and Add date option will be available.

Cut off Time(in hours) option allows you to add a cut-off time for booking the trip.

When you click Add date option, different options will be available which are listed below:
- Date Label: This option allows you to add a label for a date.
- Select pricing options: This option allows you to select the pricing option you have added under the Prices tab.
- Starting Date: This option allows you to add the departure date which will be displayed in the frontend section(calendar) as the available date for booking of the trip.
- End Date: This option allows you to add an ending date.
- Enable Time (Buy Pro): This option allows you to enable time.

You can add Multiple departure dates for the trip using Add Date button.
Also, you can remove the date that you have added using the Remove Date button.
WP Travel Group Discounts (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Group Discounts have the ability to give a discount based on the user’s group. You will be able to add the price based on the number of people attending the trips.
Note: You can either enable Group Price for Pricing under Pricing Option or Group Price for category under category section.
Admin Side:
WP Travel Group Discount allows the admin to add the prices which can be offered as the group discount based on no of people attending the trips.
Admin will be able to add the group discount from the tab “Dates and Prices” by going to Admin Panel > Trips > Your Trip > Prices & Dates > Prices. of individual trips.

For example:
A trip “Trip to Austria” has the price of 1000$ per person. The max no of pax is 5. If only 2 people wanted to go on the trips then the admin can set the price as 1000$. Now if there are more than 2 then admin will be able to offer a discount amount to the people going to the trips.
Admin can set the price as 500$ per person for the trip. Similarly with the increase in the no of people admin will be able to set the price accordingly.

For no of people between 3-5 :

Client-Side:
The user will be able to see the discount price offered on the trip by clicking on the link “View Group discount” on the trip single page under the “Booking” tab.

After viewing the discount price list, the user can make the booking to the trips as per their requirements.

Group Discount Price per pricing option (Pro):
WP Travel Pro v4.0.0 has come up with a new feature that includes a Group discount price feature in the pricing options section so that users can set group price per pricing rather than per category. The main purpose of this feature is to set group discount prices for similar types of categories once rather than setting group prices individually for different categories.
Note: You can either enable Group Price for Pricing under Pricing Option or Group Price for the category under category section.
Admin Side:
After updating WP Travel Pro v4.0.0, you will see feature regarding providing group discount per pricing option. To use the group discount per pricing feature, you have to enable Enable Group Price option under the Pricing option by going to Admin Panel > Trips > Add New > Prices and Dates > Prices as shown in the screenshot below

By clicking on the link “Discounts” on the single trip page under the “Booking” tab, the user will be able to view the discounted price per person in table format as shown in the screenshot below:

Includes/Excludes #
This is the Includes/Excludes section. Under this section, you will get the option to add the Includes/Excludes required for the trip.
Available Options:
- Trip Includes: This option allows you to add the information that you want to add in the include section.

- Trip Excludes: This option allows you to add the information that you want to add in the excludes section.

Facts #
This is the facts section. Under this section, you will get the option to manage the facts option.
Users will be able to add multiple trip facts/information about the trips.
Steps For using the Trip Facts:
How to enable Trip facts?
You can enable the trip facts by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Facts.

How to add new trip facts?
In order to add new trip facts, the user just needs to click on the” Add new” buttons. Clicking on the “Add new” button will make the field appear where you need to enter the field name, select field Type, and enter icon classes.
Available Options:
Field Name: This option enables you to enter the trip facts name.
Field Type: This option enables you to choose the filed type i.e. whether it is single select, multiple select or plain text.
Icon class: This filed enables you to enter the icon class. eg: fa-plane.
Note: You can make as many trips as you like with “Add new” button.

How to add these trips facts to individual trips?
After adding the required number of trips facts from the Settings > Facts, go to individual trips to add the facts that is required for the trips.
From the individual trip, edit screen go to the “Facts” tabs. Here you will find the” Add new” button, just click on this button and add the required facts for the trips that is added from the Settings > Facts.


These facts are sortable i.e you can reposition them by dragging up and down according to your preferences.
Display Trip Facts using the shortcode:
What makes the release of the version (1.3.2) even more interesting is that you can even display the facts using the shortcode.

Gallery #
This is the Gallery section. Under this section, you will get the option to add the images required for the trips.
To add the image go to individual Trips > Gallery and add the required image.

Featured image:
The image which is marked as a star by clicking the image, the image will be featured and will be displayed as the trip image and other images will be displayed in the gallery section.
Advanced Gallery Feature (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Advanced Gallery is an exciting module included in the WP Travel Pro plugin which gives the functionality to add more informative gallery items including the audio, video ( from the URL as well ), and images. This module can take the transparency and clarity of a particular trip to the users to a whole different level. Admin can promote their trips with the maximum amount of information with no limit on the number of audio, video, and gallery items that they wish to include.
Configurations:
After downloading WP Travel Pro Plugin, install it and activate the plugin.
To enable the Advanced Gallery, go to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Modules Settings > Pro Modules and enable the Advanced Gallery

Features:
Using the WP Travel Advanced Gallery, the user will be able to add images, videos, and audio to a particular trip.
Adding media:
For this just go to Trip > Gallery and begin to add the media as per your requirement.
You can add the media by two option:
- Add Media: You can directly add your desired images, videos, and audios through the “Add Media” button. You can select the item of your preferences and add them.
- Insert From URL: This option is for the videos. You can add the URL of the video and add them to the gallery.
Featured image:
Here to make the image featured, you need to click on that image and then a star will appear on the image. The featured image will appear in the archive page and in all the pages where the trip is displayed.

Gallery Display Style:
There are three ways of displaying the gallery. You can manage the gallery display setting from Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Misc. options.

- Grid: This option displays the gallery in grid view.
- Slider: This option displays the gallery in sliding view.
- Masonry: This option displays the gallery in masonry view.
Locations #
This is the location section. Under this section, you will get the option to manage/add the location.
The Destinations section under the Trip Type section in the dashboard menu lets you add the new destination to the list. It allows you to add the destination and the newly added destination will be listed on the right-hand side of the page.

You can add the destination from the location tab of individual trips as well.
What’s new in WP Travel v4.0.0?
With the WP Travel version 4, the user will be able to display the maps without the API keys. If you do not have the API keys then there is nothing to worry about as you can display the maps at the frontend by entering the location only.
For this, you need to go to the Location tab of the individual trip and search for your location.

Other map options like Here Map, MapQuest can also be used to display the maps.
Checkout #
This is the Checkout section. Under this section, you will get the option to manage the Checkout option.
This option will only be available after the activation of the WP Travel Pro and enabling the WP Travel Utilities module. After the activation of the required plugin and enabling Utilities module, you will get the tab “Checkout” in WP Travel > Settings.

Trip Specific Info Content (Buy Pro):
This feature allows you to add the Trip Specific info on the checkout page for the trip.
Available options:
- Checkout Information Label: This option allows you to add the label for checkout information.
- Checkout Information: This option allows you to add information.

Inventory Option (Buy Pro):
The most demanded feature “Inventory option” is now added to the WP Travel Utilities module included in the WP Travel Pro plugin. After enabling WP Travel Utilities a new tab “Inventory Options” will be added to the individual trip. With this feature, you can show the inventory status of the trips. The fields available are explained below:

Available Options:
- Enable Trip Inventory: This option allows you to enable/disable the inventory feature for the trip.
- Count Paid Booking for inventory: WP Travel Pro v4.0.3 has come up with a new feature which allows you to reduce the number of available booking seats (PAX) only after booking with payment. To achieve this feature, you have to enable it.
Note: When disabling this option, Inventory will be reduced in case of both Booking only and Booking with Payment.
- Inventory Size: This option allows you to add inventory size for your trip.
- Out Of Stock option: This is the most requested feature which is now available in the WP Travel Pro plugin. If the trip is booked up to the max no of pax that you have defined then this feature will allow you to either add an enquiry form or display the Sold out message. For detail please click here.
- Sold out Message: This option allows you to add a custom message to display when sold out message is enabled for unavailable trips.

FAQs Option (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Pro has been released with the WP Travel Utilities module with brand new features. One of the features that you will be enjoying is FAQs.The FAQs feature is already available in the Free version of the WP Travel Pro plugin but what makes this FAQs feature different is that now you will be able to add the FAQs globally to every trip.
- Global FAQs
Now the user will be able to add the FAQs from Admin Panel >WP Travel > Settings > FAQs.

The FAQs added here will be available to all the trips but trips will display globally added FAQs only if the option “Use Global FAQs” is enabled from the single trip page.
Enabling the Global FAQs option from the single trip edit screen:
To enable the global option go to the individual trip and FAQs tab and enable the option “Use Global FAQs”

Shortcode:
The user will now be able to display the FAQs on Post, Page using the shortcode as well. The shortcode will be generated after you add the faqs here and save the setting.

Itinerary Image (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Pro has been released with the WP Travel Utilities module with the exciting feature of adding the image in the Itinerary section. With the addition of each day planning now, you will be able to add the image as well.

Custom Booking (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Pro has been released with the WP Travel Utilities module with this exciting feature. If you wish to add the custom form or links instead of the traditional booking layout then this is the option to go for.
Go to Admin Panel > Trips > All Trips and to the individual trip. In the individual trip go to tab Prices & Dates. Now chose the option “Custom Booking” in the “Select Pricing” Option.
Within the custom booking type, you will find the two options “Custom Links”, “Custom Form“. Please find the description below.
Custom Link:
If you want to add the custom link in the booking tab then you can choose this option. This option allows you to add links that will allow you to redirect to some other URL.

Available options:
- Link: This option allows you to add the custom link.
- Link Label: This option allows you to add the label of the link.
- Open link in a new tab: This option allows you to either enable/disable the feature to make the link open in new tab.
Custom Form:
If you want to add the custom form then chose this option. This option also allows you to add the shortcode as well.

Available options:
- Custom from HTML: This option allows you to add the custom HTML.

Thank you page (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Pro has been released with the WP Travel Utilities module with this exciting feature.
From this Feature, the user will be redirected to the “Thank you” page after completing the payment process.
The Thank you page can be set by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > General.

Note: You have to add the shortcode [wp_travel_thankyou] in the page that you have chosen to set as thank you page.
Time Feature (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Pro has been released with the WP Travel Utilities module which provides the new feature of adding multiple time slots for a date of a trip. But the feature of adding time slots is only available in case of fixed departure dates.
To add multiple time slots for the date of the trip, you will be provided with the ‘Enable Time‘ option under the date option which can be obtained through the ‘Enable Fixed Departure‘ option.
You can add any number of times(in hours) for the specific date of the trip by going to Admin Panel > Trips > Individual Trip > Dates and Prices

Also, you can remove the time by disabling the Enable Time option.

Inventory Options #
This is the inventory section. Under this section, you will get the option to manage the inventory option. This feature will only be available after activating WP Travel Pro plugin and enabling WP Travel Utilities module.

FAQs #
This is the FAQs section. Under this section, you will get the option to add the FAQs. Available options are explained below:
- Use Global FAQs (Buy Pro): This option allows you to enable/disable the global FAQS option. If you enable this option then FAQs are displayed from WP Travel > Settings > FAQs. If you disable this option then the individual setting will be implemented.
- Use Trip FAQs (Buy Pro): This option allows you to use the FAQs from the individual trip along with the global FAQs.
- Add FAQ:
- Enter your question: This option allows you to enter the questions.
- Your Answer: This option allows you to enter the answer to the question.

Note: WP Travel plugin v5.0.1 added the feature regarding rearranging the FAQs by swapping the FAQs up and down as shown in the screenshot below.

Downloads #
The Downloads tab will only appear after the activation of WP Travel Pro where the WP Travel Downloads module is bundled so you have to enable the WP Travel Downloads module by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Modules Settings > Pro Modules
Available Options:
- Downloads for Trips: This option allows you to select the download file that is added from WP Travel > Downloads.
- Downloadable Email Attachments: This option allow to selection of the download file which is to be attached in the booking email.

Tabs #
This is the tab section. Available options are explained below:
Use Global Tabs Layout: If you enable this option then the Tab is displayed from WP Travel > Settings > Tab. If the option is disabled then the tab setting will be displayed from the individual trip.
- Tab listing: Here is the list of the tab that is displayed in the frontend.

- Sorting: You can sort the tabs by dragging it up and down clicking on the tabs.
- Tab Renaming: The tab can be renamed as per your requirement.
- Enable/Disable Tab: You can enable/disable the tab from individual tab section.

Add New Tab (Buy Pro):
WP Travel Pro provides the feature regarding adding a new tab with which user will be able to add the custom tabs globally or to the single trips. For detail assistance regarding adding a custom tab feature, please refer link. The options available under the new tab are listed below:
- Tab Label: This option allows you to add/edit the tab label.
- Tab Content: This option allows you to add/edit the tab content.

Misc. Options #
This is Misc. Option section. Under this section, you will get the option to manage the Enquiry option.
Available options:
- Global Trip Enquiry Option: This option allows you to enable/disable the Global trip enquiry option. If you enable this option then, the setting will be from the WP Travel > Settings > Misc. Options.

Guides #
The Guides tab will appear after the activation of WP Travel Pro where the Travel Guide module is bundled so you have to enable the Travel Guide module by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Modules Settings > Pro Modules
Now, to add the guides to the trip, firstly you have to enable the Guide under the Tabs section of the individual trip.

If you have Use Global Tabs Layout option in all the trips then you have to enable the Guide tab going through WP Travel > Settings > Tabs

Then, you can select the guide of your choice by going on the individual trip.
