WP Travel Gutenberg & Elementor Blocks New Features

WP Travel Gutenberg & Elementor Blocks v2.1.0 has come up with exciting new features with which you can display the trip page as per your wish. You will be able to completely build the page layout using different blocks available in the plugin with no hassle. Using WP Travel Gutenberg & Elementor Blocksplugin you can either create your own custom template for the trip page with available blocks or display the trip page choosing the template among the available templates in the WP Travel Gutenberg & Elementor Blocks plugin as per your requirement.

New User who use WP Travel Blocks v2.1.0 and further don’t need Elementor plugin to add the features available in blocks plugin.

After activation of WP Travel Gutenberg & Elementor Blocks plugin, you will be able to see the Block Settings option under WP Travel Settings where you need to enable Enable Gutenberg option to get the features available in WP Travel Blocks plugin as shown in the screenshot below:

When Enable Gutenberg option is enabled, a section will appear on the trip edit page where you can see add block icon with which you will be able to add available blocks in the trip page as per your requirement. The trip page layout will be created depending on the way in which available blocks have been added.

Trip Search: #

Display trip search form with which you can search the trip.

Trip search Options:

• Show Input: This option allows you to enable/disable Search field.

• Show Trip Type: This option allows you to enable/disable Trip Type field.

• Show Location: This option allows you to enable/disable Location field.

Trip Enquiry: #

Display trip Enquiry form which is used to submit enquiry about the trip.

Trip Categories: #

Display the categories ( Trip Types, Destinations, Activities, Keywords, etc. ) if the trip has been assigned to any.

Trip Categories Options:

• Activities: Selecting this option allows you to display the activities, if trip has been assigned to any.

• Destination: Selecting this option allows you to display the destinations, if trip has been assigned to any.

• Keywords: Selecting this option allows you to display the keywords, if trip has been assigned to any.

• Trip Type: Selecting this option allows you to display the trip type, if trip has been assigned to any.

Trip Price: #

Display minimum price among the prices added for booking of the trip under the Prices & Dates tab.

Trip Price Options:

• Show From: This option allows you to enable/disable From text.

• Hide Regular Price: This option allows you to hide regular price in case of enabled sale price.

Trip Rating: #

Display rating star view provided by the reviewer.

Trip Review: #

Display review count provided by the reviewer.

Trip Duration: #

Display trip duration added for the trip under the Prices & Dates tab.

Display date when Fixed Departure option enabled.

Trip Wishlists: #

Display Wishlist icon.

Trips List: #

Display the trips as per selected taxonomies (Trip Type, Destination, Activities, keywords, etc.) under Filter options.

Filter options:

• Number of items: This option allows you to add number of trips that you can display.

• Order by: Under this option, you will be able to see multiple options which are listed below:
  • Newest to oldest: This option allows you to display new trip at first.
  • Oldest to newest: This option allows you to display new trip at last.
  • A -> Z: This option allows you to display trips in alphabetical (ascending) order.
  • Z -> A: This option allows you to display trips in alphabetical (descending) order.

• Trip Type: This option allows you to add Trip Types to display trips which are assigned to that Trip Types.

• Trip Destinations: This option allows you to add Trip Destinations to display trips which are assigned to that Trip Destinations.

• Trip Activities: This option allows you to add Trip Activities to display trips which are assigned to that Trip Activities.

• Trip Keywords: This option allows you to add Trip Keywords to display trips which are assigned to that Trip Keywords.

• Sale Trip: Enabling this option allows you to display trips with sale price.

• Featured Trip: Enabling this option allows you to display trips which are marked as featured.

Trip Map: #

Display map for the location added for the trip.

Map Settings:

• Enable Latitude/ Longitude: This option allows you to enable/disable co-ordinate option to add latitude and longitude.
• Location: This option allows you to enter location if you want to change the location in map block.

Making changes on map setting option will also change trip location.

Trip Tabs: #

Display tabs added through global or individual trip tab settings for the trip.

Tabs Options:

• Use Global Tabs Layout: This option allows you to enable/disable global tabs layout.
• List of available tabs: You can drag and drop available tabs as per your requirement.

Trip Facts: #

Display trip facts/information about trips.

Fact Options:

• Add Fact: This option allows you to add available facts for trip.

Trip Code: #

Display the unique code added for the trip.

Trip Code Options:

• Trip code: This options allows you to edit trip code.

This option is only available for Pro user.

Trip Filters: #

Display trip search filter form with which trip can be searched through different filters.

Trip Filters Options:

• Keyword Search: This option allows you to enable/disable Keyword Search filter.
• Trip Fact: This option allows you to enable/disable Trip Fact filter.
• Trip Type Filter: This option allows you to enable/disable Trip Type filter.
• Trip Location Filter: This option allows you to enable/disable Trip Location filter.
• Price Order Filter: This option allows you to enable/disable Price Order filter.
• Price Range Filter: This option allows you to enable/disable Price Range filter.
• Trip Date Filter: This option allows you to enable/disable Trip Date filter.

Trip Group Size: #

Display maximum pax added for the booking of the trip.

Breadcrumb: #

Display the path that reveals where the user is on the site.

Breadcrumb Color Options:

• Text Color: This option allows you to change text color of breadcrumb.
• Hover Color: This option allows you to change hover color of breadcrumb.

Trip Calendar: #

Display calendar directly with available trip booking dates.

Trip Calendar Options:

• Show Calendar: This option allows you to enable/disable calendar view.

• Tooltip text: This option allows you to edit tooltip text.

Trip Overview: #

Using this block, you will be able to add a detail about the trip.

Enable Custom Template for the trip single page #

After enabling Enable Gutenberg option, if you don’t want to add blocks yourself then you can enable Enable Custom Template option by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Block Settings which will enable the default template for the trip page to display the trip page with the default template.

Also, if you want to use your own custom template instead of the default template then WP Travel Blocks plugin provides an option to select your own custom template through the Select Template option under Block Settings. The custom templates you will create will be listed as dropdown options under the Select Template option. When you select your own custom template under the Select Template option and add a new trip, automatically the template for the new trip will be the custom template you have selected.

You can edit/modify automatically added custom template for specific trip too.

Additionally, you can create your own custom template adding multiple available blocks by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Templates > Add New

You can use WP Travel related blocks as well as WordPress blocks to create custom template.

You can also use the templates available in WP Travel Blocks plugin for the trip page. To use templates available in WP Travel Blocks plugin for the trip page, you can browse templates through WP Travel option located on the top right corner of the trip edit page.

You can also create a custom template under the My Templates section as shown in the screenshot below:

Reset All trip Templates #

This option will replace all trips layout with the default templates selected above.
