By integrating AI platforms like OpenAI or OpenRouter, you can automatically create:

This guide will walk you through enabling the AI feature and creating a trip using AI.
Enable the AI Feature
Before generating AI content, you need to configure the AI settings.
Step 1: Access AI Settings
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to:
WP Travel β Settings β Advanced β AI Settings
Step 2: Choose Your AI Platform
Select one of the supported platforms:
- OpenAI
- OpenRouter
Step 3: Enter API Key
- Enter your API key for the selected platform.
- Click Save Settings.

Create a New Trip Using AI
Now that AI is enabled, you can start creating a new trip.
Step 1: Add a New Trip
Go to:
WP Travel β Trips β Add New
Step 2: Enter Basic Trip Information
Fill in the essential trip details:
- Trip Name
- Trip Types
- Destinations
- Keywords
- Activities
Providing accurate and detailed information helps the AI generate more relevant and tailored content.
Generate Trip Content Using AI
Inside the Trip Editor, youβll notice an AI Generate icon next to supported content fields.
AI generation is available for:
- Trip Overview
- Trip Outline
- Itinerary
- Includes / Excludes
- FAQs
How to Generate AI Content
- Click the AI icon next to the desired field.
- A popup window will appear with a pre-filled prompt.
- Customize the prompt if needed:
- Adjust tone (luxury, adventure, family-friendly, etc.)
- Refine the trip focus
- Add specific instructions (target audience, duration highlights, special experiences)
- Click Generate.
The AI will automatically generate structured and well-formatted content based on your input.
Review the generated content and click Insert to add it to your trip.
Finalize and Publish the Trip
After generating all necessary content, complete the remaining trip settings.
Configure Trip Settings
- Set pricing
- Add trip dates
- Add featured images and galleries
Review and Publish
Carefully review all generated content for accuracy and personalization.
Once everything is finalized, click Publish to make your trip live.
