How to Download Booking Details?

The Download Booking Details feature in WP Travel allows you to export complete information related to a traveler’s booking into a single, organized HTML file. This makes it easier to manage customer records, track payments, and maintain accurate booking documentation for your tours.

The exported booking file includes:

• Traveler Information: Includes the traveler’s name, email address, phone number, and additional custom fields created using the Field Editor.
• Payment Information: Displays payment-related details such as the amount paid, payment method, and transaction status.
• Trip Booking Information: Contains details related to the booked trip and reservation.

With the Download Booking Details feature, you can quickly access and store important booking records whenever required. The exported file can be opened in any web browser, making it convenient to review, save, or share booking information.

How to Download WP Travel Booking Details for a Single Booking

To download booking details for an individual reservation, follow these steps:

• Go to your WordPress dashboard:
  Dashboard → WP Travel → Bookings

• Locate the booking you want to export and click on it.

• On the booking detail page, click the “Download Booking Details” button.

The booking information will be downloaded as an .html file. You can open this file in any modern web browser to view the complete booking details.

You can also save or share the downloaded file for record-keeping, customer support, or internal reference purposes.

Control Visibility of Pricing and Payment Data

WP Travel provides filters that allow you to control which information appears in the downloaded booking file. You can hide pricing or payment information when sharing booking records.

Hide Pricing Details

Use the following filter to remove pricing information from the downloaded booking details:

add_filter('wp_travel_hide_pricing_data', function(){
    return true;
});

Hide Payment Details

Use the following filter to remove payment information from the downloaded booking details:

add_filter('wp_travel_hide_payment_details_data', function(){
    return true;
});

When these filters return true, the respective pricing or payment information will be hidden from the exported booking file.

Where to Add These Snippets

You can add the above snippet in one of the following ways:

Method 1: Child Themes functions.php

• Navigate to: /wp-content/themes/your-child-theme/functions.php
• Paste the code snippets at the end of the file
• Save the file
