WP Travel plugin provides the feature regarding displaying the Itinerary descriptions under the Trip Outline tab on the Single Trip page. You can add a description related to the trip (itinerary) including the itinerary image so that customers will be able to get information regarding the trip following the path Admin Panel > Trips > Individual Trip > Itinerary.

Under the itinerary section, you can add an itinerary label, itinerary title, date, time, image, and description, which will be displayed under the Trip Outline tab on a single trip page.

Now, with the release of WP Travel Prov5.8.0 you can remove the image in the trip itinerary by going to Admin Panel > Trips > Individual Trip > Itinerary as shown in the screenshot below.
