While using WP Travel plugin, you may sometime face a problem where booking/enquiry emails and contact form details may not be sent to the user. So here is how you can solve email not being sent issue:
Table of Contents
Step 1: Enable the PHP mail function and SMTP setup
One reason for this could be that a mail() function may not have been working because your host provider may have disabled the mail() function.
- At first, you have to make sure your host has enabled the PHP mail functions.
- Secondly, you have to do an SMTP setup using the plugin given below for the mail to function.
If you face difficulty while doing the above-given methods then kindly contact your server host and figure out the issue.
Step 2: Check Plugin Conflict
If everything is fine regarding the server then please once verify the issue by deactivating all third-party plugins and activating only WP Travel (Pro as well) as third-party plugin conflict can be one of the leading causes for the uncertain behavior of your site. For plugin conflict check, please refer link.
Step 3: Check and Clear the Cache
Sometimes caching issues also can be the reason for the appearance of issues related to not getting an email notification. So, please once verify the issue clearing the cache too. For details regarding how to clear the cache, you can refer given link.
Step 4: Setup Email Template Settings
To get an email notification, the email address you have added should be correct so please once make sure you have added the correct email address in the To Emails field under respective email templates (Booking Email Templates/ Payment Email Templates / Enquiry Email Templates ) by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Email > Email Templates

Also, if you are using the WP Travel free version, you won’t get the To Emails field as this option has been included in WP Travel Pro. So, you have to make sure that you have added the correct email address (the email where you are willing to receive email notification) in the Administration Email Address field by going to Admin Panel > Settings > General as shown in the screenshot below:

Conclusion
By following the above-mentioned steps you can easily solve the email not being sent issue in WP Travel.
