With the release of WP Travel v10.5.0 and WP Travel Pro v9.5.0, significant enhancements have been introduced to booking email functionality, especially when using WooCommerce checkout for trip bookings.

These improvements offer greater clarity, professionalism, and convenience for both site admins and customers.

What’s New in This Update?

1. Trip Summary Included in Emails

Booking confirmation emails now display key trip details when WooCommerce is used for checkout:

  • Trip Name
  • Trip Start Date
  • Traveler Count by Pricing Category (Pax)
  • Total Booking Amount

This ensures customers receive a complete snapshot of their booking right in their inbox.

2. PDF Invoice Automatically Attached

Each booking email now comes with a professionally formatted PDF invoice containing:

  • Total Amount
  • Customer Details
  • Business Details
  • Trip Information
  • Pricing Breakdown by Pax Category
  • Additional Services (if any)
  • Cost per Traveler and Total Calculation

The PDF invoice is sent automatically to both the customer and the site admin, ensuring clear communication and easy record-keeping for all parties.

How to Enable These Features

These enhancements work automatically if the following conditions are met:

  • WooCommerce checkout is enabled under WP Travel > Settings > Checkout
  • You’re using:
    • WP Travel v10.5.0 or later
    • WP Travel Pro v9.5.0 or later

No extra configuration or plugin is required.
