Can you please once switch theme to parent theme and verify if the important theme edits are available or not?

Also, WP Child Theme Generator only creates the child theme for your parent theme and it doesn’t affect any portion in the theme.

Further, third party plugins conflict can be one of the leading cause for the uncertain behavior of your site. So, please once verify the issue by deactivating all the third party plugins.
