ISSUE #1: Coupon PayPal Error
A traveler booked through my site and applied a coupon code. On their end it showed the correct discount but when they go to pay with their credit card via Standard PayPal the coupon discount amount was added to their total and not subtracted!
I had to refund them the coupon discount amount via PayPal myself. This is a huge error and needs fixed ASAP please.
In my admin dashboard bookings you can refer to Booking #920 to see this error.
Sub Total Price $ 220.00
Discount Price – $ 55.00 (correct)
Tax $ 8.80
ERROR: Payment Details: $286.00 (this is the wrong total because the coupon discount never came off the total for PayPal!)
I have people actively booking trips and trying to use coupon discounts and they do NOT work! Please fix this ASAP!
ISSUE #2: Can’t Edit Bookings
When in site’s admin dashboard you can’t edit the bookings and make any changes. The changes do NOT stick! This needs fixed as well asap. Examples: I can not cancel a booking or change it’s status.

Just installed your Version 1.8.4 update that says you fixed the can’t edit bookings bug. Sorry but this is still broken! I have a pending trip that needs to be canceled and still I have no way to edit that trip and change the status to canceled. The Update button is 100% broken!

As for the coupon count issue, currently, the count will increase only when you booked. But it does not increase when booking the trip along with the payment. This will be fixed in the coming updates of the plugin.
Regarding the update button, the button did not work because of the added field “state”. The data did not get saved at the backend. So as for now please update the field manually and verify the issue.
We will soon release the plugin using which you can add the field, remove, edit the field without any problem.

1. The coupon discount issue is fixed. The discount is now shown perfectly in PayPal. I already had a new booking. 😉
2. The state field is not being shown correctly in the emails being received. So that field needs to be included in the admin and traveler emails.

Yes, the added field does not save the data so in email as well you won’t find the saved data.
So, we already have built the plugin WP Travel field editor which will address regarding the form field and is releasing pretty soon.
Also, glad the coupon issues is now resolved.
