    Hello,

    During detail inspection of the issue(codewise), we found that code has been modified in the core file of the WP Travel plugin. When we removed the following given code added in the core file and test the Geo location feature in local setup everything is working fine so the issue you have reported has been raised due to the code added in file wp-travel/inc/helpers/helpers-price.php on line number 1136.

    $price = apply_filters(‘wp_travel_price_child’, $trip_id);
    }

    Also, we are unknown why the code has been added in the core file of WP Travel plugin so please once consult with the developer who has added the above-given code.

    Further, we suggest you not make any modification in the core file of the WP Travel plugin as the changes you have made will be lost after the update of the theme. If you want to make any changes then please make changes using a child theme.

    Hi team,

    Thanks for the advise. But, even after removing that code from the parent theme and enabling the geo location feature, still the prices are not changing based on country. I don’t know how they are appearing based on country at your end.

    1) I got the site checked by a real person in India, and ‘from price’ for any trip is not reflecting in INR. I also checked how the site is reflecting in USA by looking up at a website (GEOPEEKER.COM) , and the ‘from price’ are still showing in AUD and not USD.
    2) Also, the prices in the group discount table are also not changing based on country.

    Could you please check again and advise?

    Actually, we are inspecting the issue. We have cloned your website to our local setup and the geo-location is working fine, as this specific issue is seen in your setup only, we are inspecting it deeply and trying to find the main cause of the issue.

    For now, please try to disable the geo-location and use the drop-down feature. We might again contact you regarding this issue during inspection.

    Thank you so much for your support. I really hope this gets sorted ASAP as I’m already losing my customers.

    1. Noted that you’re looking into the issue.

    2. Even the dropdown-feature is not working for the prices inside the Group Discount table. So, I can’t use that either and really stuck. When I switch the currency from AUD (the base currency) to INR, the prices in the Group Discount table do not convert, only the currency symbol changes from $ to ₹. For example if the table was showing a price of $500, it would only convert to ₹500. Could you please advise how to sort this out?

    I am really stuck now, and need atleast one of these 2 features to work propoerly.

    Do you know what is the the expected time of release of update regarding multicurrency ‘dropdown’ feature?

    Noted that you are still looking into my issue related to multicurrency ‘Geo-location’ feature. Could you please resolve this issue on priority and let me know? Do you know how long will this take to resolve?

    Hello,

    Our developers are on the fixing process, during that we also need to contact the hosting if necessary as the hosting might also be blocking the IP address for the multiple currency geo-location. Inspection is being done which is taking this much time.

    We would change the geo-location feature with something robust like google maps geolocation tracking feature if necessary but that would also cost the end-user to buy the API key.

    Regarding fixing both the feature might take around a week (or less maybe).

    We have fixed the issue related to multicurrency ‘dropdown’ so please once update the plugin and verify the issue.

    Also, regarding Multicurrency ‘Geo-Location’, after proper inspection we found that the issue has been appeared due to bluehost. Can you please once consult with your host so that you will get rid of the issue and can use the Geo-location feature in proper way?

    In regards to GeoLocation- could you please advise what is the issue you found with BlueHost so that I can communicate it to them clearly?

    I contacted the bluehost and advised them the issue reported by you.
    I also quoted them the exact issue you advised i.e $_SERVER variable is returning nothing which mean(might be) they might be blocking the server information access for the security purpose.

    Please see the Blehost’s response below:
    “I have checked with our specialists now and there are no such blocks from the server end. Still we have whitelisted couple of mod_security rules which might cause plugin functionality. If this you still gets the same issue then you will need to contact the plugin vendor and ask them to provide you the server requirement of it so we can check if it is comfortable with our specialists for not”
