ParticipantHi,
I have tried using the shortcode with a slug. I have found that in various pages the results are reported differently. Could you please explain how to control it.
1. When I use the shortcode as
[WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES type=travel_locations slug=”india”]This is the result I get
https://tinyurl.com/y6z64y8e2. While using the search from the demo home page, this is the output I get
https://tinyurl.com/y47k3ryr3. If same text is used in the search box this is the result
https://tinyurl.com/y6ssu48hCould you explain how the shortcode features
a. to have the ability to switch between list and grid as in (2)
b. have the filterbox displayed as in (2)
c. show the filter trips in sidebar as in (2)d. As you can see the trip box shows different details in 1, 2 & 3.
How do you control it?e. Is it possible to show some overview text in the box?
Also would like to report bug, line marked 1 in image 3

KeymasterHello @max,
Regarding your query 1,2 and 3, the layout is different as you have a different theme where the layout is not compatible with the plugin. On this note what we want to make you clear on is, the functionality of the plugin works absolutely fine but the layout may raise the issue so we recommend you to use the compatible themes.
a. to have the ability to switch between list and grid as in (2)
Response: You can manage the layout including the column using the shortcode.
[WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES col=”4″ view_mode=”grid”]b. have the filterbox displayed as in (2)
c. show the filter trips in sidebar as in (2)Response: For both of this refer to the below-given link of our official documentation.
https://wptravel.io/documentations/user-documentation/#doc-plugin-shortcode-51
d. As you can see the trip box shows different details in 1, 2 & 3.
How do you control it?Response: We are not quite clear on this so can you please explain it further so that we can help you?
e. Is it possible to show some overview text in the box?
Response: Currently it is not possible and as much as we would love to help you with this, we are unable to so as it requires higher code customization.
Hope this clears the confusion.
Thank you.

I am using the theme “Travel ultimate”, which I chose after seeing it in your list of compatible themes
a. to have the ability to switch between list and grid as in (2)
Response: You can manage the layout including the column using the shortcode.
[WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES col=”4″ view_mode=”grid”]Thanks, that worked
b. have the filterbox displayed as in (2)
c. show the filter trips in sidebar as in (2)Response: For both of this refer to the below-given link of our official documentation.

I had already tried that but what I do does not seem to work, the parameters formatting— nothing
Here’s what it looks like
https://tinyurl.com/yxcpf6zdIs it possible to give shortcodes for both (“filter by” & “filter trips”) shown in this page.
https://tinyurl.com/y47k3ryrAlso how do I enter the shortcode for it to show up in the sidebar
d. As you can see the trip box shows different details in 1, 2 & 3.
How do you control it?Response: We are not quite clear on this so can you please explain it further so that we can help you?
That would get answered if the earlier queries are resolved
