ParticipantHi there, what happened to the dropdown date picker menu for the “List by pricing options”?
Now the two options are practically identical and the first one is so confusing on the customer end.
Pls try and restore the dropdown option.February 26, 2019 at 9:53 am #11281Support Team
KeymasterHello @flukini,
Actually, for the fixed departure date, we have removed the calendar option as we got a request from lots of users that the fixed departure dates do not require calendar in the frontend. Also, it was creating a compatibility issue with the WP Travel Utilities so we removed the calendar in case of fixed departure.
However, we will definitely work on this and will make some improvement that would address the users.
Thank you.
Best Regards!!

ParticipantHi there, if a lot of users ask to remove the calendar does not mean that is the right thing to do or that this solution satisfies the others.
At least you could have left it as a third option in the setting tab.
In my case: I display 4 months of fixed departures with three different prices for each dep so that in the front end I have a long list that is very confusing for my customers and, funny thing is that looks no different from the other option “List by fixed departure dates”: a long list of confusing departure dates.
Let me ask you this: take a look at “Booking.com” or “AirBnb.com”, do they have a calendar in the front end or a list of departures dates?
No surprise they are #1 and #2 in the OTA most used list all over the world.
Please, at least, try and provide the calendar as a 3rd option. Otherwise I will not update the plugin to this new version.
Thank you for your attention.February 27, 2019 at 10:16 am #11361WP Travel Admin
KeymasterHello @flukini,
We are really very sorry and we are working on this. We are thinking of adding the option for those who do not want to get the feature but the thing is this might take some time.
Hoping for your kind co-operation.
Best Regards!!

ParticipantHello, let me ask you this:
how would you manage a list of 3 months of fixed departure dates with these options so that the user interface will result the easiest and most intuitive to get a booking?
Maybe it’s me that do not get it right.
Thank you.February 28, 2019 at 5:46 am #11428Support Team
KeymasterHello @flukkini,
When setting the fixed departure date for the pricing option at the backend, there is no necessity of again displaying the calendar to chose the date since it is already fixed.
However, as we have mentioned above, we will come with the workaround to restore the previous setting.
Thank you.
Best Regards!!

ParticipantHi there, I was thinking of a quick (temporary?) solution to this issue:
you could at least group departure dates per each month with the same UI used for the FAQ: each lines remains closed until a user open it to check each dep date of that particular month.
This way we could have a minimum of 2 lines to a max of 12 lines (a year) under the “booking” tab that should not result so confusing as it is now.
Is it possible?
Thank you.March 1, 2019 at 6:14 am #11469Support Team
KeymasterHello @flukkini,
You don’t have to research more as we will soon come with the update using which you will be able to have the previous pricing layout through the filter.
Also, regarding your query, yes it is possible but it requires lots of code customization.
So, if you want then you hire our professional developer.
