Hi,

A few queries about trip.
1. Is it possible to have a sub-heading for the header for a trip? (on next line and smaller). Currently, only one line is possible.
2. Is it possible for the header image to be overlaid by the menu as it is in the home page?
3. Is it possible for me to add my own url’s to the “book now” and “enquiry” buttons?
4. Can I change “Trip Outline” tab to “Itinerary”?
5. Can I remove some tabs like booking, reviews etc?

Response: Currently it is not possible but we will note it as the requested feature and will work on it.

2. Is it possible for the header image to be overlaid by the menu as it is in the home page?

Response: Actually, we are not quite clear with your query, so can you please explain it with the proper screenshot so that we can help you further.

3. Is it possible for me to add my own url’s to the “book now” and “enquiry” buttons?

Response: Yes, with the book now feature you can add the custom URL. For this you need to use the addon WP Travel Utilities. To know about the feature, please refer to the link of our official doc.

4. Can I change “Trip Outline” tab to “Itinerary”?

Response: Yes, you can definitely rename the tab name and for this, you need to go tab section of the individial trip if you have used individual tab. In case if you have used global tab option then you can go to WP Travel > Settings > Tab and rename the tab.

5. Can I remove some tabs like booking, reviews etc?

Response: Yes, following the same path as above you can definitely turn the tab off.

Please add below-given CSS by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

Clicking on “trip enquiry” shows up the default form even with the OG tags set on, the GDPR/privacy message doesnt show.

For the issue to be resolved, we need your URL so that we can provide the precise fix so once you go live, provide the URL and we will provide the fix.

As for the trip Enquiry form, yes it will display the default form field and the OG tag has nothing to do with it.

The option to “Enable OG tags” allows you to include the featured image of the trips in the Facebook shared posts. On enabling it, the image of the trip will be visible when the trips are shared in the Facebook.

How does the FB thing work? Could you point to the documentation on its workings?

Sorry for the confusion What I was really meant was as mentioned in 6.9 of https://wptravel.io/documentations/user-documentation/ the privacy policy text with the checkbox should show when GDPR is on. I get the form but the privacy policy text and checkbox is absent.

The checkbox is absent may be because you have not added any text in the GDPR message box.

Once you add the text in the box then privacy policy text and a checkbox will appear.

I had text in the privacy policy text box earlier, even tried with changing it.
Still doesn’t show up.

Also want to add another point, setting “open GDPR in new window” to on has no effect.

The other reason why the text is not displaying is that you may not have set the privacy policy page from Admin Panel > Setting > Privacy.

So please set the “Privacy Policy ” page here and get the text at the front. Also, the option of opening the text in a new tab is related to this setting so once the page is set to check this option as well.

Hi,

Thats right. You caught it.
The page was selected but it was still a draft. As soon as it was set to publish it started working.

The open in new tab is also working.

One small query, is it possible for the box to be pre-ticked.
