Hi Team,
Is there a way to display ling to trip category page at the slider? Right now, the content type is set to ‘trip type’, so the slider displays all the trips in the mentioned category. What I want is that the slider section displays only, say, two trip types i.e. rides and treks. Whenever someone clicks on the trip type chosen, they’ll be taken to the list of trips whether rides or treks. It will help my page load way faster because there will be many lesser images to load.

To select limited trip types in the slider options, go to, Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Section > Slider Section

Select the trip type option in the content type and the list of all the trip types that are assigned with the trips will appear in the box. You can choose among them according to your choice.

Perhaps I could not make it clear in the last post. I do not want the whole trip type category to be displayed in the slider. Rather, I want only two trip types (rides and trek) slider to be visible in the slider area, which, when clicked, gets the user directed to the trip category page where all the listed trips are displayed for the category.

Apologies for the misunderstandings.

The features to display the selected trip assigned to the trip type is present in the theme as explained in the above screenshot. However, the trips when clicked directs to the single trip page and not the archive page of the selected trip type.

A huge amount of code customization is required to implement the feature that you require. If you still want the feature in your side, you can kindly consider hiring a professional developer.

You can only display the images as for now, so to display the video will require higher code customization.
