Hi,

I need to have show different trips in different currencies. Inbound trips in local currency, some outbound trips in USD and some of them in the currency of that country.
As I understand from other queries on the forum you cannot have multiple currencies but I have seen one query where some code is provided for the child theme to be able to add a prefix to the currency sign.

This feature is very important to me and a possible deal-breaker as I would not be able to display all my trips. So I do want to find a solution.
Alternately can I
1. Set local currency for viewers in my country and USD for viewers from other countries
OR
2. Set a conversion rate (possibly live) and then display in a base currency.
OR
3. Let users choose currency

Do note that the currency is only for display as the website wont have any connection to payment gateway as all payments are processed offline

The code that we have provided for changing the prefix will only work for only currency setting and also currently you will only be able to set one type of currency.

As for the query related to setting local currency and USD for a trip, for this, a total core customization of the code is required.

Since it cannot be achieved using a simple custom code, our suggestion to you is hire a professional developer.

Now the feature of multiple currencies for the trips is currently not available in the free version. However, the feature is noted as the requested feature and if possible we will include the feature in pro version.

As for now, you can always consider hiring the professional developer so that you would get exactly what you want.

I found some code in your Knowledge base to have multiple currencies https://wptravel.io/how-to-add-a-new-currency-in-the-currencies-list-option/

But when you add, it basically crashes the site, I have also seen post that say multi currencies is not possible? If that is the case why do we have the API option to check currency rates.

Surely as a tours style program, working in multiple countries you need multiple currencies?

The code that you have mentioned only added the currency and its symbol in the dropdown option. It has nothing to do with the multiple currency feature. Currently, the feature is not available in the plugin.

But if you are using WP Travel Pro plugin then there is a feature to display the currency exchange rate only. It only displays the equivalent amount of one particular currency in different currencies.

OK, where is this feature as currently we have USD as teh currency to accept payment sin but cant see how you display the equivalent amount of one particular currency in different currencies.
