Actually, Minimum Payout (%) here means the minimum amount of money you can pay for the trip. In the plugin as you can see there are two options for payment. One is “Full Payment‘ and the other is “partial payment“. This “Minimum Payout” option will only be applicable when you select the option partial payment.
Let us explain it with an example.
Suppose Your trip price is 100$ and you set a minimum payout amount for a trip to 10%. Now when you reach to checkout page and chose the partial payment option then here you will only have to pay 10% of 100$ i.e. 10$. But in case if you chose full payment option this minimum payout option does not matter.
You can set the minimum payout % as per your company policy. If you dont want to enable this feature then you can turn it off by disabling the “Partial Payment” option by going to Admin Panel > Trips > Settings > Payment.
You can set the separate minimum payout % amount for each trip thrugh custom field. Additionally you can apply same minimum payout amount of 10% for all the trips by turning on the “Minimum Payout (%)” option thus enabling the option Global payment.
You cannot control the payout option separately for each trip. Currently, you can only set the option globally for all trips by going to Admin Panel > trips > Settings > payments i.e. you can either enable or disable the partial payment option for all trips.
