PayPal Express – No booking button

    Hey Wp Travel:

    Purchased a theme and this accompanying plugin. Great work on solid products!

    Topic
    PayPal Express Integration

    Steps
    1. read documentation
    2. integrated settings
    3. input REST API creds for sandbox testing
    4. attempted multiple mock bookings

    Issue
    The checkout page has no “book” or check out button where the trip client chooses payment method (options are standard and express).

    Developing locally. Site and plugin licenses are connected to the local site: trips.local

    Thoughts on how to solve this?

    Regarding you query, In case of PayPal Express Checkout, the PayPal checkout button works as a button to Book or as Checkout button.

    Thanks for reply and for the screenshot.

    That PayPal button is not present on my frontend. Below “Total Trip Price” there is only white space.

    How to address this?

    Hey Wensolutions:

    Update: I was able to get the Paypal button icons to appear.

    However, when I click Paypal or PaypalCredit (or any of the credit card icons), a small Paypal window opens briefly, maybe 1 sec, and then closes.

    Then nothing happens. I remain on the checkout page.

    Thoughts on possible solutions?

    Hey Support:

    The issue seemed to have been related to developing locally. Once we migrated the site to the host and activated the site license on the live-hosted site, the issue resolved.

    Hi WP Travel Support team!

    I’m having a similar problem, i just purchased the addon, inserted the necessary license keys but the paypal button is not showing up on the website. I was hoping you could enlighten me. what could be the issue here?

    First of all, thank you very much for buying the addon.

    After entering the license, make sure to enable the payment gateway by going to Admin Panel > WP Travel > Settings > Payment.

    I already switched that option to on, enabling the paypal express checkout. I followed the instruction on the page you provided. i already enabled the license key as well.

    Hello @leviathanbook,

    When we inspected your site URL we found that you have totally customized the checkout page which is causing the issue.

    Since the customization is not done by us and we are unknown to the changes that are being made in the checkout page, we could not say much about the issue.

    So if you have made customization through the child theme then reactivate the parent theme and verify the issue. If you have the direct modification then back up the work and use the original version and verify the issue. But it always best to make the changes through the child theme.
