First of all: wonderful plugin WP Travel, I really like it.
I’m writing to you because I’m not able to configure the post filters control like is shown in the demo page (http://wptravel.io/demo/) where is written “Find your perfect tour”. I downloaded the plugin and installed it in my wordpress, I configured the widget “WP Travel Trips By Type”, but no filter showed up.
How can I do this?
Thank you very much

Thank you very much for the appreciations and wish you have the best experience with the plugin 🙂 .
Actually, the thing is the section “Find your perfect tour” that is displayed in the demo comes from the Travel Log theme. We have set the demo of the WP Travel Plugin using the Travel Log theme.
So if you want the same layout as in the demo of WP Travel Plugin then please use the Travel Log theme.
Travel log theme link:
Also not to forget WP Travel plugin works best with Travel log theme.
Hope this clears the confusion.
If you have any query/issues related to the plugin please let us know.

Hello Support and @houseofstrauss,
thank you very much for your responses.
Unfortunatly the plugin is not working beacuse doesn’t recognize the WP Travel custom post types, and I can’t select anything related to trips.
Do you know a code I can insert in my functions.php or somewhere else which allows me to catch WP Travel custom post types?March 15, 2018 at 5:38 am #5554
We will provide you a stepwise guidance. Please follow them in a respective manner and let us know if the issue is solved or not?
Steps to follow:
Step 1: Go to Admin Panel > Trips > Tripe Types and add the new ” trip Type” as you like.
Step 2: Go to Admin Panel > Trips > All trips and then to individual trips and assign the Trips type to the posts.
Step 3: Finally go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Sections > Post Filter section and chose the option “Trip Types” from the drop down in “Content Type” option.
Then chose the Trip Type that you have created and assign to your desired posts.
Follow similar process if you want to set the section using Trip location.
Hope this helps.
