i have the travel log child theme & wp travel plugin.

a) I have still the same problem about home page meta description.

Google still have as meta description only this phrase “travel site”. http://www.universetravel.gr

I have written another but still does not recognize it.

What can i do?

b) About the breadcrumbs, “google search console” tells me that i have many “breadcrumps issues”. Why? Travel log breadcrump options isn’t seo friedly?

Regarding meta description, even if you have added or changed the meta description then it takes time for google to recognize the changes you have made. It is not that you have changed now and it will get published immediately but will take some time.

When i change the title the changes are ok the next day, but the meta description is not.

Did you see something wrong at view source? Something that prevent the right meta description?

I do not know what else i must to do.

so i follow all the steps that yoast seo suggests —–> https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/ and i saw that if i have only the travel log parent or child enable and the yoast plugin disable the problem still exists.

After making a detailed inspection of the issue, we found that the issue is found in our theme itself. The theme added extra meta so it raises such kind of issue.

So we have already informed the theme author about the issue. We will soon fix the issue and release the update soon.

If the changes has been made in parent theme, then the changes will be lost whereas if the changes has been made in child theme then the changes remain same during update.

I updated the theme and the meta description is ok now thanks a lot!

What about these? https://prnt.sc/s41thk . Do you know if these are the taxonomies? They still appear wrong.

and about the breadcrumbs have not fixed yet.

I have to wait till google check them and approve them?
