Response: To display only images without the text in the slider, use below given CSS.

For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the CSS.

.featured-slider .featured-slider-contents {
    display: none;
}

Response: We are not quite clear which section you are referring to, so can you please explain further for which section you want to increase the height for so that we can see what we can do?

Response: The slider will adjust its size according to the image used. So you can upload the images of your preferred sizes in the slider.

Response: If the slider plugin that you are trying generates the shortcode then we will provide the solution where you can add the shortcode of that slider and display.

For this activate the child theme. You can activate the child theme manually or simply by using the plugin given below:

After activating the child theme in your child theme functions.php file paste below given code.

I tried to add 16:9 images to the slider, but then appears a huge space between the end of the image and the next section… It only works when I use a square type image. How can I solve that? The website is: http://riodejaneirobycariocas.com.br/

First of all thank you very much for using the Travel Log theme and WP Travel plugin.

Regarding your query, when we checked the theme and the plugin we were unable to find such issue.

So as a quick fix in your site please add below-given CSS by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

#travel-log-front-page-slider-wrap #featured-slider .slick-track {
	height: 749px;
}
