    Dear all,

hope you had a great weekend.

I have a quick question. I am testing the WP Travel booking system. The first confirmation email gets send out automatically. But now I am trying to figure out how I can manage the email follow up in the backend. How can I trigger the other system emails?

    Thank you in advance

    Hello,

As for now, the confirmation email which is send after the booking of the trip belongs to automatic setup(email will be send automatically) so the feature regarding managing the email follow up in backend section is not available.

If you have any queries further, let us know.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Let me recap to see if I understand this correctly. The client makes a booking and gets a confirmation receipt. But all other emails which I can configure here

    domain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=itinerary-booking&page=settings

Will never get send to the customer as of today? Neither do I have the option to send vouchers and/or travel documents via the site? Is that correct?

    Hola WEN SOLUTIONS,

I had a question open from March 10th. Let me try to rephrase:

    In WP travel Backend under
    domain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=itinerary-booking&page=settings

There is an E-Mail template Client Email Template Options
Question: Will this mails automatically be send as soon as I set the status of the booking to “PAID”

    And another question:
    Similar to {payment_status} can I enter a variable {} with the bank details ie {bank_details}

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
    Thank you and stay healthly

    Kind regards
    Max

    Hello,

Please find answers to your queries below:

Query 1. Will these mails automatically be sent as soon as I set the status of the booking to “PAID”?

Response: As for now, the feature of sending the automatic email after the update of the payment status is not available. However, you can send the email manually to the specific person that you want to send the email.

Also, this is listed as the feature request so we will work on it in the near future.

Query 2. Similar to {payment_status} can I enter a variable {} with the bank details ie {bank_details}?

Response: Regarding the query about sending bank detail in the email, the feature is currently not available in the plugin. If you make the payment through the bank, you will get the email mentioning that you have made the payment via bank.

As much as we would love to help you with this, we are unable to do so as it requires code customization so you can consider hiring a freelancer or professional developer.

If you have further queries, let us know.

    Regards.

    Hello,

As admin will receive the customer details like email, the admin can send the email manually after changing the status using that email.

    Regards

    Hi there,

thank you for your reply. I am still a little lost. Can you explain what you mean by manually? I have not seen a send button. Copy & Paste into my mail client can not be the solution since there are placeholders within the mail form the booking

    Hello <strong>{customer_name},</strong>

    Your payment has been received.

    Booking ID:<strong> #{booking_id} ({booking_arrival_date})</strong>

Thank you very much in advance for your support

    Take care and stay healthy!

    Best regards

    Hello,

Actually, manually sending email means you can send a normal email to the customer using his/her email address(the email detail which can be obtained in the booking detail section in the backend ).

If you have any queries further, let us know.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We would like to apologize for the inconvenience.

Also, the way we have mentioned regarding sending emails manually is only the way to be performed to achieve the feature you have requested.

Further, as much as we would love to help our users, we are unable to do so as it requires higher code customization.

So, if you want this feature you can consider hiring a freelancer or our professional developer.

If you have any queries further, let us know.

    Thank you.
