I realised that whenever we send links to other people, the preview keeps showing the excerpt travel-site

I’ve attached a screenshot of the preview that we sent out via facebook

The website preview text/images while sharing the website URL is actually generated by the Meta tags for your website accessed by Meta Crawlers.

If you wish to change the meta information for the page specifically, you can do so by using the SEO/Metas plugins like Yoast to update the information to your desired text.
