ParticipantHello,
I cannot find where to add the content for the tab sections. I have changed the maes of the tabs. But cannot find where to enter the actual information for each trip. Can you help please?

KeymasterHello @elwalker,
Actually, we are not quite clear with your issue.
You can directly add the tab content from the individual trips. There are multiple tabs where you can add the info.
The information added here will be displayed in the tabs.
Hope this clears the confusion.
Thank you.

ParticipantI can see how it works now. I was expecting all the tabs to be in tabs tab. I think I’m going to need the custom tabs addon!

ParticipantSo, I’ve purchased the addon, created a custom tab as a global option in Settings. However, this does not show as an option in Trip dashboard. I can see I can create custom tabs per individual trip, but I then need to create these multiple tabs each and every time I create a trip. It would be better if they appeared when as an option to fill in for individual trips when selected as a global option. Or am I missing something?

KeymasterHello @elwalker,
Thank you very much for buying the addon.
Yes, you can definitely add the tabs globally that will be applied to each individual trips. But you need to make sure to set the option as “Use globally”
For clear information, you can refer to the theme plugin official documentation.

Hope this helps.
If you have any query/confusion kindly let us know.
Thank you.

ParticipantThe trouble is the global function does not work. I set up the global tabs in Settings, but these do not appear in the Trip pages.
Please see screenshots:

KeymasterHello @elwalker,
When we checked in the latest version of the WP Travel Utilities plugin, we found that the global tab option is working absolutely fine as you can see in the below given screen record.
https://www.useloom.com/share/b423a7ac0a8d4476b09b49494d5645c2
So make sure you have the latest version of the plugin, both Utilities(1.2.3) and WP Travel(1.9.3).
There is no such issue in the latest version so make sure to update to the latest versions.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.

ParticipantI can confirm that I have the latest versions installed.
However in your example it does not work as envisaged either. Your live site example only shows the additional tab called Test. This is served as an additional tab from the individual trip.
However the additional tabs set up as global tabs in settings – Additional Information & Additional Tab – do not appear when you get to the trip level.
I’d expect any tabs set up in settings to become global options to be filled in at the trip level.
Is this not the case? And if not, what’s the purpose of adding the additional tabs at the settings level – as Additional Information & Additional Tab in your example can not be used anywhere?
So my only option for now seems to be to use the standard global tags and then add the additional standard tabs every time I add a new trip which is a pain.
Is there any way to make the custom tags added in global settings appear on the single trip pages?

KeymasterHello @elwalker,
We would like to apologize for the trouble.
Actually, the main function of the Use Global setting in each individual trip is to use the setting that is made globally through WP Travel > Setting > Tabs.
Even though if you have added the tabs individually for example in above screen record. “Additional Information & Additional Tab “, it won’t display in the single trip page if you have chosen to use the global settings. Whatever tab is available or added in the global setting will only be displayed if you chose to use the global setting from the individual trip.
So for your case, add all the necessary tab globally and then go to each individual trip and set to use the global tab option.
Hope this clears the confusion.
Let us know if you have any query further.
Thank you.
