ParticipantHi,
thanks for your great job (though I’m still under production at that time, I appreciate it).On the WP_Travel_Checkout page (see https://prnt.sc/rerrip), there are 2 words that remain untranslated “subscribe” with one to check.
My questions are:
Q1 – What is the purpose of it? Just to create a user account?
Q2 – Where can I translate it to make it clear for our customers?Q3 – In France, the law for tour-operators is to provide clear and full information on the tour and insurances before the act of purchasing (General and Specific Purchasing Conditions). Is there any possibility to place a field on this page with a box to check and saying “I have read and agreed all general and specific purchasing conditions” with a link to the document to download?
Q4 – In France again, though NOT mandatory, clients have the option to buy a specific insurance proposed by the tour-operator. It is always proposed under a percentage (i.e. 3.00% of the total price of the tour). Instead of calculating the exact amount of insurance for each trip and add it as an EXTRA, which represents a lot of work, is there a possibility to put this option with the percentage that would automatically calculate the amount?
Thank you for your kind help

KeymasterHello,
Please find answers to your queries below,
Query 1. What is the purpose of it? Just to create a user account?
Response: Checking the ‘subscribe’ will let you keep the record of the customer. This will help you make the customer list and store the information using the plugin like Mailchimp.
Query 2. Where can I translate it to make it clear for our customers?
Response: Regarding your query of translation, the issue is the known issue and we will release the update fixing the issue soon.
Query 3. In France, the law for tour-operators is to provide clear and full information on the tour and insurances before the act of purchasing (General and Specific Purchasing Conditions). Is there any possibility to place a field on this page with a box to check and saying “I have read and agreed all general and specific purchasing conditions” with a link to the document to download?
Response: You can add the checkbox with the text as per your requirement from the WP Travel setting and add the text in the GDPR message as per your requirement.
Also, for the message to appear in the checkout page, you have to assign a privacy page. For that you can follow the path Admin Panel > Setting > Privacy as seen in the screenshot below:
To add the text in the GDPR message, you can follow the path Admin Panel > Appearance > WP Travel > Settings > Misc. Options
Then, you can get the setting in the checkout page like the screenshot below:
The page you assigned is a link to the page where you add the document.
Also, refer to the documentation given below to be more clear

Query 4. In France again, though NOT mandatory, clients have the option to buy specific insurance proposed by the tour-operator. It is always proposed under a percentage (i.e. 3.00% of the total price of the tour). Instead of calculating the exact amount of insurance for each trip and add it as an EXTRA, which represents a lot of work, is there a possibility to put this option with the percentage that would automatically calculate the amount?
Response: There is no any feature related to insurance as for now. However, we will add this feature as a feature request.
Hope this helps.
If you have further queries, let us know.
Thank you.

ParticipantAll right, thank you, it’s clear.
The only thing that doesn’t work is that Loco Translate doesn’t translate “subscribe” on the WP_Travel_Checkout page, so if you can help me on this, please.
Thank you and take care of yourselves

KeymasterHello,
The feature of ‘subscribe’ is managed from the WP Travel MailChimp Plugin. We have already fixed the issue and made this translation ready but haven’t released the update yet. So, we will soon release the next update.
Hope for your kind co-operation.
Regards.
