I have figured it out. The problem was the Jetpack plugin. I just had to switch off the option to serve images from their servers.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately using Gmail is not an option as all my clients business emails etc. run through Outlook.
Am hoping you guys can look into this soon.

Have tested a bit more and it seems to be Outlook that’s breaking the styling… when I send to Gmail it looks better.
