WP Travel, the most popular travel plugin on WordPress, is proud to announce addition of another most-sought after feature to its arsenal- the WP Travel Partial Payment Add-on. This addon now allows tour and travel agencies accepts partial payments from customers on their website.
There are many reasons for a traveler to make partial payment for their trips including but not limited to uncertainty, insecurities or simply they just don’t have enough to pay in full at a time. For travel agency ability to address such concerns would mean getting qualified leads while providing the travelers paying some portion of the payment – allowing them the time and opportunity to meet and serve them so as to win over the client.
We realized that providing the opportunity to pay in installments for a user to book a trip would mean even greater amount of bookings and business for travel agencies. So we worked on a solution in the form of an addon to WP Travel.
With this new WordPress partial payment plugin, site visitors will be able to pay partial payments for their bookings and pay the remaining portion at a later time. This is an addon for you, if you travel site is on WordPress and if you have installed our main plugin – WP Travel. This is NOT a standalone plugin, its addon and requires WP Travel plugin to work.
With that note, now let’s dig into additional power that it provides to tour and travel agencies:

1.Accept Partial Payment: Like the names suggests, the WP Travel Partial Payment addon allows tour operators to accept trip payments on installment basis. So if the total cost of a trip is $300, the traveler can book the trip by making an initial payment of $150 on your website while opting to pay the remainder later.

2. Automated Deposit Emails : Notification emails about the transactions are sent to the user informing them about the payment made and remainder. And when the final payment is made, a email is sent with the confirmation. This feature helps the user and tour operator to make the transactions transparent and be informed.

3.Optional Deposit Mode: Though the addon is named WP Partial Payment, it is not only limited to partial payments. The add on provides two options to the user on the checkout page to choose – Option 1 is to pay full amount and Option 2 is to make a partial payment.

4.Transaction Report: All the transactions made by the users are displayed on their respective tour booking dashboard providing the ability to view the transactions in a go.
