WP Travel v8.9.0: New Updated Features
1. Added up and down arrow on the itinerary toggle
The new WP Travel plugin v8.9.0 adds an “up and down arrow” on the itinerary toggle.
This feature helps the users efficiently navigate the drop-down menu to see details on specific itinerary sections. Arrows will avoid the chances of users missing or skipping past the details.
The “up and down arrow” feature aims to improve the usability and overall user experience when viewing detailed itinerary information.

2. Added sale price in percentage support on the on-page booking module
The latest version of WP Travel adds sale price percentage support on the on-page booking module as well.
The feature was introduced previously during the v8.8.0 update for the normal booking but following v8.9.0 users will be able to use the feature in the on-page booking module as well.
3. Added pagination support on [WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES] shortcode
WP Travel plugin adds pagination support on [WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES pagination=true limit=5] shortcode allowing users to navigate through content more easily.
Pagination is a common web design pattern used to divide large datasets or content into smaller, more manageable chunks.
This helps to improve the user experience by reducing load times.
4. Added support to show trip lists by multiple taxonomies on [WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES] shortcode
We have introduced support to show trip lists by multiple taxonomies on the [WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES] shortcode.
You can now use this [WP_TRAVEL_ITINERARIES type=activity,itinerary_types,travel_locations trip_location=1,2,3 trip_activity=1,2,3 trip_types=1,2,3 ] shortcode to show trips that fall under multiple taxonomies.
The features will allow the user to view the listed trips that fall on specific Trip types, Trip Locations, or Trip activities. Using their respective IDs, users can list the Trips.
5. Added “Minimum Checkout Price” trip option
Similarly, in the latest WP Travel update, a new feature has been implemented to add the “Minimum Checkout Price” trip option.
It helps the admin to set the trip’s checkout minimum threshold price to book the trip which will help in increasing profitability and encourage larger purchases.
This feature makes the “Book Now” button unclickable to the users until the threshold meets the minimum checkout price.
