Dear users, we have come up with a release of WP Travel v6.4.0 and  WP Travel Pro v5.4.0 with the support of some enhancements and fixes. We have redesigned the Settings page in this release to a brand new look. For new settings to take effect, you need to have both plugins to be updated.

WP Travel (Free):

Enhancements:

  • Implemented a new design and interface for the Settings page.
  • Added compatibility with the WPML plugin for translations. Partially compatible with WP Travel Pro in this release.

WP Travel Pro:

Fixes:

  • Fixes the issue of getting duplicate emails while sending itinerary downloads through the option under the Downloads tab.

Enhancements:

  • Added color layout option for PDF Downloads.
  • Added Progressive Web App (PWA) option. Enabling this option will help you build your travel website an app-like experience for users.
  • Implemented a new design and interface for the Settings page.

Settings:

Pro tips: You can use the Quick Search option within the settings page to find any setting quicker.

Options within the new setting page are structured as below.

Under the General Settings you will get the options like:

Under the Trip Settings you will get the options like:

7. Invoice:

Under the Invoice Settings, you will get options for invoices like logo, address, etc.

Under the Miscellaneous Settings you will get the options like:

  • Third-Party Integrations

9. Advanced:

Under Advanced Settings you will get the options like:

  • PWA

PWA(Pro):

A progressive web app (PWA) is a website that looks and behaves as if it is a mobile app or the web app. PWAs are built to take advantage of native mobile device features, without requiring the end user to visit an app store, make a purchase and download software locally. Simply, PWAs are mobile sites built with a JavaScript framework that delivers an app-like experience to users.

You can now use the PWA option with WP Travel plugin. To use it go through Admin Panel > WP Travel Settings > Advanced > PWA as shown in the screenshot below:

Color layout option for PDF Downloads(Pro):

With the latest release of WP Travel Pro plugin, you can now choose Primary and secondary colors for the pdf.
