Remove Archive Title from the Archive Page

WP Travel plugin has come up with the option to remove the Archive Title from the Archive page, you can follow these options based on different scenarios:

Option 1: Remove Both the Archive Title and the Description

Default Title of the Archive Page

• Go to WP Travel Settings:
  • Navigate to your WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to WP Travel > Settings > General.
• Hide the Plugin Archive Page Title:
  • Find the “Archive Page Title” option.
  • Enable the “Hide Plugin Archive Page Title” setting. This will remove the archive title displayed by the WP Travel plugin.

Option 2: Remove the text “Archive Trips”

If you prefer to remove the “Archives: Trips” text manually, you can add a custom code snippet to your child theme’s functions.php file.

This code will modify the archive title for category and tag pages to display only the category or tag name, without the “Archives” prefix.

Option 3: Remove text ‘Archives’

To remove just the “Archives” text while retaining the rest of the title, use the following code:

    return preg_replace( '/^[\w]+([\s]?\w+):/', '', $title );

});

This code uses a regular expression to remove the “Archives:” prefix, leaving the remaining title.
